My name is Gary Carson. When I was 7 years old, I was given a Miniature Beauta Candid ROLLA camera and some 120 film. I carried it everywhere and started enjoying photography.
The ability to capture a single unique moment in time has been my passion. Along with finding that moment is the process of knowing your subject and selecting the right frame to capture the subject’s emotion and beauty. Whether it’s capturing a sunset or a favorite performing artist, the view through the camera provides a unique look to capture the emotion and depth of the moment.
Looking at the works of the master photographers provides an infinite source of inspiration to try new techniques and develop one’s personal style. Adams, Weston, John Inscoe and the National Geographic photographers are some of my favorites.
I hope you enjoy my work,
